Sweet Nasty is currently recording their new album Life On Fire at Studio 79. Guitars, bass and drums are finished on all 12 songs, and sax tracking begins this weekend.

The first of 2 Video Release Parties is scheduled for Valentines Night Feb 14 at Sundances. We will be showing our new music video for Mojo Devils Claw filmed last December.
The second party is scheduled for Feb 20th at The Raven. The video really turned out well and we are very excited to show it. Show up and check out our new Music Video!

We will be doing a live radio broadcast on KJZA 89.5 FM on February 7th at 7pm. We hope to play 3 songs, all in the studio unplugged. There will be interviews as well. Tune In and check it out!

The Video Shoot was amazing! 3 long days and hours and hours of filming have resulted in some outstanding footage. (Watch behind the scenes Video) Saturday we built a film set in the desert out by the Dosie Pits just outside of Prescott.This remote location meant we needed power generators, so we rented 4 - 6000watt units. We invited Troupe Salamandra, a fire spinning group of 15 members. They really worked their asses off and stole the show. We appreciate all the hard work from you pyros. The opening scene of the video features Kenny James daughter Dylan. She was perfect for the role and had the time of her life. We filmed from 3pm until 11pm on Saturday.

 

On Sunday we filmed onstage inside Lyzzards Lounge. We got so much done on Saturday that we were able to shoot an entirely different video for In The End on Sunday. This was just a straight live performance video with multiple camera angles. On Monday we finished filming the rest of the scenes for Mojo Devils Claw.

Video Shoot for Mojo Devils Claw is December 6-7-8. Iron Duke Productions from California is coming out to film and produce a 3 day shoot. Day 1 is a remote outdoor location night shoot. Day 2 is an outdoor day shoot. Day 3 is an evening shoot inside Lyzzards Lounge. If you would like to be in the video please show up at Lyzzards on Dec 8 around 6:00pm.

What a 4th of July !! We went to Lake Powell and played at the famous Gunsmoke Saloon in Page, Arizona. It's a huge venue with room for around 600 people, and it was packed! Great gig, huge stage, crowd loved us and the fireworks...oh the fireworks. Mike is the producer of the Lake Powell Fireworks Spectacular and has been shooting their display for over 10 years. This years show was the biggest Page has ever seen, with over 1200 shells being fired in 25 minutes.

CD's are here!! Sound great, look great and we are very pleased. Cd's are for sale here on the website and at Hastings. Individual songs may also be downloaded on the website too.

CD is Mastered by Paul Elliott, finished and being replicated and packaged. Expected delivery date is June 23rd.

New PA System - Just purchased 2 new Active Mackie SA1530z speaker cabinets (image to the left). Also a new Lexicon MPX200, Alesis 12R, BBE 822, DBX 215 EQ, 3 Sennheiser e604 Drum Mics and a e602 Kick mic, and a few new Shure Beta 57 and 58 mics. More new gear being purchased everyday. We will have the killer system in about 1 week!

CD is Mastered and Artwork is printed. Just received the master yesterday and it sounds amazing! Should have packaged cd's by the 20th of June. CD Release is June 27

Final mixes are being finished today. Cd artwork is complete and really looks great. This Friday is our deadline to send off the cd and artwork package and we will meet that deadline!

New CD is almost finished! Mixing is damn close to perfect and most songs are nearing their final mix. CD will be mastered by Paul Elliot at The Sound Lab. Listen to the latest tracks on the Audio Page.

New CD is almost finished! 99% of the tracking is complete on the much anticipated debut CD, "Bread, Wine and Circus". There are just a few small guitar parts to record for "Comets and Cigarettes" then the entire recording process will be complete. Mixing has been going on for about a month and most songs are very close to the final mixes. Check the Audio Page for all the latest mixes. Recording News - Sweet Nasty is in the studio! Sweet Nasty is currently at Studio79 recording a much anticipated 6 song EP. This cd will feature a solid collection of the bands wide range of original music. Songs to be included on this recording are; I'm A Roman Candle, In The End, Mojo Devils Claw, Reach For The Unreachable, Comets and Cigarettes, Road To Hell. The cd is sure to showcase the bands diverse style as well as prove that an original band does not need to write songs strictly in one genre.

Studio79 is a small production studio owned and operated by Sweet Nasty drummer Mike Kreidel. The studio has produced some acclaimed recordings in the past including; Kenny James - Give Me Peace, Nick Miranda - Desert Rock, Lindi Joseph - 'Bout Dam Time, as well as many television and radio commercials.
